All of this that had been going on was beyond weird and beyond Brodie's understanding. It seemed every little thing was turning to crap at the same time as all the other little things, and he'd be lying if he said he wasn't worried.
That said, he'd woken up missing the sunlight like crazy; he wasn't used to spending so much time without it and the way it had been so extremely overcast the day before was just depressing along with everything else. Brodie welcomed this sunny day and thought that while he couldn't do all that much, he might as well enjoy himself while he could.
A tiny smile formed on his lips as soon as he saw who was also enjoying the sun. He hadn't done it on purpose but now he was happy Jamie was also there.
"Good morning to you." He said, and ran a hand through Jamie's hair. "And might I ask exactly why you're out here without sunscreen? You wanna look like a lobster, is there another costume ball?"
