He noticed she got closer, and that made him smile a little bit. She seemed sweet so far. "It sounds that way, and it would be neither, actually." he admitted. "Mostly it's a lot of research, a lot of wandering around places you shouldn't be at three in the morning, and more research. So...dull and not dangerous unless you fear tetanus." he said. "As for crimes...no. I'm looking for proof of the supernatural, not murderers. That's for psychics. I'm not one." He watched her as she looked down, and wondered if she did that often, let herself get excitable then shut herself down.
"I'm sure nothing will hurt you here. Unless there's something weird going on I don't know about, in which case I'd look into it either way. But again...no documented cases of spirits ever hurting anyone. Besides, not even all spirits would want to. They aren't evil by nature." Or, most types she would be thinking about weren't. Not true if you dug into mythology but they weren't, here. "I'd tell you if anything changed."
