Cath picked up his glasses, tucking them back away. His point was simple. Sometimes you had to acknowledge your weaknesses before you could begin to conquer them.
He shrugged and took another drink of his beer. "There are ways to learn to read faster," he pointed out quietly. "Drop by the library tomorrow if you have a bit and the world's not gone to utter shite. I'll at least set you on the right track."
Mae was going to kill him. But he was looking as it as penance of sorts. Maybe if he could help people, he could begin to earn some of the forgiveness he wanted so badly.
