Alexander was amazed that Hector was this willing to put his trust in people that he hardly knew. He must really be okay with himself to not be afraid of dying. Well, if he didn't get his appendix taken out, he was going to die anyway. Did Hector know how dangerous this was? He didn't know what Leto had told their patient. Alexander was so out of his element patient wise. He knew how to discuss the risks of a surgery with a pet owner, not the pet (or patient) themselves.
"See you in a bit, Hector," Alexander said, with a smile he hoped was comforting and confident. He waited for directions from Leto, not wanting to hamper whatever plans she had.
