Lynne sniggered and nodded. "Fair enough, it'd be exhausting if you had to be extremely charming at all times. I've seen you at your worst anyway," she reminded him. "It's okay if you have an off day," she joked.
It was nice to know that he didn't feel obligated to stay and Lynne couldn't help smiling in response. Even if the smile was tainted with playful annoyance at the wink about being a free man, that was. "Oh, sex is off the table?" Lynne asked, shaking her head and crossing her arms over her chest as she dropped back against her chair overdramatically. "Forget it, I'm out," she laughed. She had to wonder, though, what exactly he had in mind for conversation that wouldn't end up being awkward in some way, shape, or form.
