Truth was, unless she'd changed remarkably, Matt already knew the answer to his own question. Not that he liked it, but there it was. And Lynne didn't, as of yet, seemed to have changed all that much. Grown, maybe but then so did he.
There was no way for this to not be strange. They'd reached the conclusion that they knew everything about each other, and yet there was a strangeness between them as if they were distant high school friends who'd never heard of each other again until after college, or something similar.
Of course Matt supposed it was only normal. What had gone on between them didn't make for a very healthy relationship in the aftermath, that was clear.
