"Maybe. But that's because these past few days have been so full of stupid that anything remotely pleasant means happiness to me." He explained, smirking. Matt had a hard time believing in miracles - he hadn't even been raised to believe in God - but when a broken neck healed faster than a sprained ankle, he didn't know what else to call it.
"That defies all logic." He commented, but without the intention of attacking Lisa for calling it divine intervention. It just really defied all logic, was all. Looking up at Lisa, he smiled. "Oh, good. Last time I wore crutches I remember thinking I'd do everything in my power to never have to do that again." It really was a drag, though when he put it in perspective, was nothing compared to other things he'd been through. But it still sucked pretty hard. Especially while climbing stairs.
Matt pondered for a while, with the palm of his hand supporting his chin and the rest of it over his mouth. "Oh yeah! That's right, you asked the captain about the sirens." He wasn't going to be rude and laugh at her. Not right now.
"No, sorry. I haven't." Though sometimes he could swear he heard rapid fire from very far away. That freaked him out.
