Why on Earth had they ever thought this was a good idea, that's what Brodie wanted to know, in proportion to how uncomfortable and horny he was getting. They knew they were sort of incapacitated, why would they even try it? It was all that took Brodie not to pull a palm of a hand to his face.
It wasn't just Jamie's skin. Brodie felt like he had caught on fire somewhere along the way though the burning wasn't a half bad sensation most of the time. Just...claustrophobic as well.
Brodie opened his eyes wide at Jamie as he spoke, as if eyes wide open could ever mean he'd be able to listen better. Now. What he had said could be taken in many ways because they were just five little words two of them were there to promote better understanding of the meaning of the phrase.
But still, it could be understood in many ways. Brodie did not know what to believe. Because he was a silly git. He knew what that meant, in the back of his mind he hoped - he knew - it was coming eventually. Maybe. No he didn't, but still, he knew what Jamie was asking right now. And he had no words.
Brodie pressed a soft kiss on Jamie's lips before pulling back a little more, and cupping Jamie's jaw with his left hand. "Are you sure?" He asked with some sort of cautious sweetness accompanied by a whisper much like Jamie's.
He had to ask. Because if he wasn't sure and he'd regret it later or be ashamed, Brodie wouldn't have it. There was a time where he would've, but not anymore.
