That brought a very big smile to Jamie's face - the sort that lit it up and brought out this extremely boyish look like he was a kid in a candy store. Once Brodie settled down on the couch, Jamie's arm rather automatically went around the other's shoulders though he kept it light in pressure. "Are you sure?"
He rubbed the stitches idly with his free hand then shuddered and pulled the shirt down over them again. He didn't like the feel of stitches at all. Thankfully, they didn't seem to be catgut so he didn't have to feel weird about that either. It was always strange to think of being stitched up by animal guts. Yay for the cotton replacement. Why no, he hadn't had a lot of stitches before - why do you ask?
Again, he leaned over, pressing a kiss to Brodie's temple as if to sooth his mind. Then he whispered, looking very sly about it and completely oblivious to the exact same words taped to his back, "Bang me." Jamie arched an eyebrow, trying not to laugh and completely meaning the drums on his shirt.
