That... was one of the questions the captain would have most liked to avoid. Quite simply, there was no explanation for it whatsoever. And he knew it would not be wise to admit that. However, once the young lady raised the question, too many people seemed to echo it, and look up to him with expectant expressions.
"That... we do not know." he forced himself to admit, struggling to keep back an expression of defeat. "At the very least, clocks should continue to work on all computers, but they have not.
