Gor blinked as though he hadn't thought of these extraordinarily sensible points. As with many math nerds, the youngest Jones brother could sometimes get so caught up in one path of logic that he ignored everything else entirely.
But, Nik had made some good points, and Gor wasn't about to ignore that either. He shrugged back, smiling in faint amusement. "That's true. But that's still not how it should have happened."
And people wondered why Gor was so attached to fantasy. Superheroes never got in trouble for beating up the bad guy. Might made right and all that.
"Thanks for the egg, Nik." It felt lumpy in his pocket as it rolled against his leg. "You should get some sleep."
