Ella smiled at the woman through the few tears escaping her eyes, feeling a real kinship with her already. "Just look me up anytime you need someone. I'm on the 9th floor - I deck - room 1004. Stop by anytime!"
Ella too looked at the clock, surprised by the time. "Oh, I gotta go too. Are you going to the 90's night thing? If so, it'd be nice to see someone I like there!"
When Chelsea reached over with her towel and wiped her tears away, Ella froze. Her immediate reaction was to pull away. She didn't know this girl long enough for her to be wiping tears off her face. But, it would be rude to pull away and if nothing else, Ella is not rude. So, she stayed put. After a couple of beats, her face started flushing red and she felt more tears threaten to fall. Stop crying, you stupid girl! It's been a long time since someone that wasn't family touched you and cared about you...you're just over reacting!
When she was done, Ella leaned over and gave her a brief hug. "Thank you."
Ella pulled back and stood up, smiling down at the woman. "Do you want me to bring your chair over?"
