She raised her brows at his initial response, surprised at the way he had pretty much just challenged her knowledge and intelligence. It was clever of him to turn the situation around to his favor and she had to admire that. In fact, it made her like him just a little. Besides, he admitted knowing no more than she did about the problems of the ship, and although he had been snarky, she appreciated the honest answer. So with a smile, she happily returned the conversation to an easier subject.
"Little old me sue a big cruise line? Yeah, that'd be a smart move. I probably couldn't even afford a lawyer that could handle such a high profile case," she chuckled. "I can't complain anyway, I get paid enough to have fun on the ship, so it's basically like a free vacation," she shrugged. "I'm not making money, but I'm not losing any either. Besides, it's nice to get away from my sketchbook for awhile. Remember what life is like outside the world of fashion."
Lottie turned her gaze to the new floor they had just arrived upon, and shook her head in awe. Massive was an understatement when it came to the size of this ship, really. To have a full sized pool on one end of the floor and a twice as big buffet on the other was overwhelming, to say the least. As they approached the buffet, the feeling of being overwhelmed grew.
"Good lord. How the hell are you supposed to navigate this place? It looks like you should have a buddy with you at all times so you don't get lost," she joked, rolling her eyes at him.
