"Yes sir!" she smiled. She was proud of her degree. "I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, a couple years ago. And yes, I've been working as a baker, but I did side work with a friend's catering business and I've kept up my skills in other areas, too."
She was eager to dive into the work he gave her, be is scut work or something more challenging. Cooking was her favorite pass time and passion, and she often wished she were a bigger girl so that she could eat more and have the excuse to cook more. But then she'd be less agile around the kitchen, so she didn't hope too much.
She tugged one of her pigtails a little nervously under the Chef's gaze, though she smiled at him eagerly. He reminded her a lot of her teacher at college, and she figured that he probably was. All good head chefs were forces to be reckoned, in her experience, which is why the thought of being one had never occurred to her. She was a small girl, and certainly didn't have it in her to yell or make a fuss when things went wrong.
