He looked back at her one last time, and she was now returning his look as she clumsily chopped lettuce. Melanie," he pointed to a young girl in the corner who was carefully rolling pasta out and looking positively terrified, "Melanie's acting sous chef for the night, so you'll be reporting to her, yes?
