Ah, yes. Kaz. "/I've met that Kazarian idiot,/" Miguel informed Nik broodingly. That was a name to remember. "/I think he's deaf, because he didn't hear me come in to change the sheets. I think he thought I was a thief, because he tackled me. After I finally convinced him I worked on-board, he kept screaming things at me and smiling like someone who's soft in the head. Like this./" Miguel put on the biggest, dopiest grin he could muster and held it for a moment. "/I haven't been back to that room since./" Let someone else deal with the crazy man.
Miguel nodded in response to Nik's assessment of his brothers. He was glad none of them had been seriously hurt -- from what he'd observed, Nik had his own problems to worry about. He had to wonder where his brothers were -- had they ditched him or had Nik ditched them? If it were his older brother with the concussion, Miguel wouldn't have let him out of his sight.
"/I was doing laundry,/" Miguel told him with a grin. "/I wedged myself between the machines when the boat started rocking. The worst I suffered was having a bunch of clean towels fall on my head./" Miguel had been lucky -- he was aware of that.
