It was mildly funny to read what Jack was typing - and Miguel's replies, thank God - with next to no knowledge of the language. She did see her name there, though. Names weren't translatable, and since that wasn't German, it was unlikely that any uppercase first letter words were anything other than names. Was Josefina a name too? Eve remembered that as a name from somewhere... Wait. Marla?
Eve looked up at Jack abruptly but didn't really have much to say. It wasn't jealousy, obviously, more of an amused curiosity. Especially because - and that Eve did remember - Jack had mentioned a woman with stalkerish tendencies named...Marla. Eve didn't want to ask about it, though, not just yet. Maybe later.
"Oh, it sounds fantastic. Your brother-in-law is a sweetheart." She nodded, smiling peacefully at Jack. She felt warm and fuzzy leaning against his arm like that. Even if he was shirtless and that was totally against the attempt at taking it slow. It weren't just men whose dirty thoughts went up a notch when some conditions were met. That notion was just archaic.
There it was again, her own name and the word Marla on the same line. Maybe Eve should stop snooping. Although...Was it really snooping when the laptop was right there in front of her, while Jack typed away merrily?
Something must be very funny - Miguel did look the type to crack a joke or two - because Jack kept sort of giggling. And then, he laughed so hard it scared her off his shoulder. Eve rolled her eyes, but she was still amused. "What..." She tilted her head. "Do you keep laughing about?"
