Eve gave a hearty laugh and shook her head. "No, I actually meant I like you like that, like a non-obsessed geek, but a geek nonetheless." She winked. "Though I bet you'd look good dressed as the Green Goblin." Eve nodded, very sure of what she was saying. She was quite sure Jack looked good in everything.
"And owning a lightsaber isn't something to be ashamed of." She added. You have a little brother and a good number of guy friends growing up, your heart warms up to Star Wars. Eve was no exception, she'd learned to love it on her own long ago.
Eve gave him a calm smile - good thing sadness seemed to not last long there between the two of them trying to kill it - and reached forward to brush her hand down his arm.
"No, you don't suck. This-" She flailed her arms around herself, trying with her gesture to refer to the situation they'd just been in. "-sucks. You're actually the only thing about it that doesn't suck." Eve said this last part while looking straight into his eyes, which she hadn't planned on doing, it was just where she was looking at the time. She tried not to pay attention to the butterflies fluttering about her stomach for brief moments while her eyes locked with his; a deep breath seemed to help.
"Texas holdem, always!" She chose quickly. She probably knew another type of poker, but Texas holdem had always been her favorite, and the one Eve knew to play the better. Although, apparently, with her head and the sleepiness, and whatever else...she didn't think she'd be able to play as well as she knew she could.
