The smile Savannah gave him was her best one yet. She was truly grateful for the offer, and, if her smile were any indication, she now considered him a genuine gentleman.
"I really appreciate it," she told him as she brushed a strand of hair away from her face. What had once been so carefully styled was now ragged and unkempt, both from the disaster which had rocked the ship as well as from her harried flight through the ship. For some reason, she dreaded returning to her room, but she would feel better if she didn't have to go alone.
"Samantha...looks like me," she told him. "We're twins. But she's blonde." It wouldn't be too difficult to recognize her.
Savannah's eyes lifted to the walls as she looked around herself, attempting to reorient herself. The ship was difficult enough to navigate without becoming completely lost. A blush crept into her cheeks again. Well, she had to ask eventually. "I'm, um, not really sure where we are."
