Cameron really couldn't argue with her. Usually he didn't win any points with girls when he was drunk, but then again he didn't usually win any points when he was sober either. So basically it was a lose-lose situation. What could he do? Sit and eat too hot french fries instead of actually talking to a pretty girl that had caught his eye. Really, he was lost thinking the entire thing over in his mind when Carly choked on her drink. That brought his attention abruptly to her. His first instinct was to ask if she was ok, but then she rolled her eyes and he couldn't help but smirk.
Giving her a close inspection, Cameron made a 'hmm' sound as if he was contemplating something deeply. Then he glanced at the waitress, back at Carly with that still thoughtful look on his face. Clearing his throat, Cameron shook his head. "Well that's a shame isn't it, you two would look wonderful together." He laughed at himself, then added. "But, of course a pretty girl like you has a boyfriend somewhere on this ship, right?" He didn't mean it to sound as much a line as it did. Honestly, she was pretty but he highly doubted she'd be interested in him like that. Plus, girls who looked like her always had a man.
