Cameron started, not realizing there was someone sitting next to him. Had she been there the whole time and he just hadn't noticed? He was going to go with no. Then he registered what she'd said, and the fact that she was holding out a few napkins. Glancing down, he saw that he had spilled some of his water, and he grabbed the napkins quickly, dabbing at his chest. "Thanks," he mumbled, looking back at her carefully trying to gauge if she was making fun of him at all. He wouldn't be surprised.
After a few seconds he was fairly satisfied that she wasn't. Placing the now used napkins back on the counter beside his plate, he gave her a smile. She was pretty. He liked that, and almost said so, but he wasn't that drunk. Instead he held out his hand with a friendly, "I'm Cameron."
