He gave a short bark of a laugh. "If I look at it, it'll be worse. Let's get these to the people upstairs, then I can check out my leg. It was a good size chunk of glass lodged in there, and I don't doubt it'll need stitches. I plan on going until the adrenaline runs out."
He first wrapped a thin blanket over Lisa's shoulders, there were lots available for shock. That would keep her from getting too shocky, or hypothermic as well as preserve her dignity. Then he let her hold the box of supplies as he wheeled her back to the elevator.
"I don't think most of us are going to be able to move much tomorrow. Once we stop moving the soreness will settle in and we'll stiffen up. If there's any way you can take a really hot shower before getting into bed, do it. It'll help, though not all that much."
He backed them both into the elevator and set off for the madness that was H deck.
