Sean was surprised to see Lisa and his unswollen eye shot open. She looked a wet, bedraggled mess and she was still one of the most beautiful sights he'd seen. She had news of Molly. The guy male in him would appreciate the condition of her dress tomorrow.
Molly was alive. Her arm was broken and her head injured, again, but she was otherwise mostly okay. As badly as he wanted to get to Molly, medical help was most important. It would do his niece and many others far more good.
"Alright, medical is sure to be a mess right now. They just cleared out the Cult. There's an entire ship full of passengers to help. The main trouble will be getting you through the cafe. All those tables and chairs will be scattered . They'll have cleared a path, but I don't know if it will be wide enough for the chair."
He'd carry her if he had to. Maybe not, his leg might not take it in it's current condition. Medical may be already working their way up, but supplies they could carry for now. "Let's go."
The door's closed and the car started moving down again. "Molly's emergency medication is for seizing. is she having a seizure? Oh, and the phone's aren't working for anyone. The tower may be damaged. The good news is that won't affect the Automatic Identification System. That tracks the ship, it also shouldn't affect the ship to shore radios in the bridge." He wasn't certain if he was trying to reassure Lisa or himself. Nonetheless, it was true. Those things were built to withstand anything these days. The tracker on something this size should even work if the ship went down. Not a comforting thought.
