Savannah scarcely felt herself being eased back to the floor. The colors of the room seemed to converge together, spinning and whirling like paint being mixed together. She closed her eyes against the confusing images, willing them away. When she reopened them, the room was still out of focus...but the face above hers was clear.
Although her worry was, by no means, completely soothed away, it abated a little. CJ was right -- Jesse was probably with her. If anyone could keep her safe, it was Jesse. Protecting Samantha was about all he was good for.
Besides, getting up didn't seem like a possibility right now.
Her body relaxed, exhausted and beaten, and sleepiness began to steal over her again. She blinked it away, not wanting to miss anything CJ did... She didn't want to leave him.
"If you wanted to play doctor," she murmured, looking up at him with a smile, "You totally could have just asked.."
