Re: Open
Pyrrhus had been lucky. It was almost as if he'd sensed the movement of the floor just moments before it had happened. Quickly, he'd jumped in the direction of the movement, rolling and bracing himself against the wall. Looking around, he could see things and people flying around the room, right towards him. Phoenix! Covering his head, he began running along the wall, trying to head towards the doorway leading out. He'd almost made it when the ship shifted again, back the other direction. He leaped for the doorway and hung onto it, scrambling up the wall into the hallway, just in time for the ship to move again. He felt a pain in his knee- apparently he hadn't quite timed that jump right. Worry about that later. Where's her room again? He began running down the hall, using the walls as pushing-off points and narrowly avoiding a security guard crawling out of one of the bathrooms. He was of two minds about the situation. His first thought, of course, was getting to Phoenix and making sure she was okay. But the second one, as he leaped off the wall and rolled towards another one, was that in some sick, horrible, wonderful way, this was fun.
