"Her back and spine feel fine," the young doctor informed Jack as he laid down the stretcher on the ground beside the woman. Who was still covered only by Jack's jacket. "But I need help moving her."
Jack nodded his head, "Sure thing." He moved towards her head, as the doctor carefully inspected her arm.
"Wait," the doc made sure to stop him. "We've got to set her arm first." Between the two of them, Jack holding her shoulder and upper arm, and the doctor carefully cradling her wrist, they swiftly set the broken bone. The sound of it settling into place was rather sickening, but purposefully ignored. "Okay, now we can move her," the still nameless doctor set her arm crossed over her midsection.
The two men carefully lifted her on the count of three, and laid her gently on the stretcher.
