This was probably panic, what Eve was feeling that had made her only want to get out of that place. Even she couldn't ignore the injured people, and yet she was aching for fresh air, as if she'd stopped breathing it in.
She was static, leaning against a wall with her head throbbing with pain. The thought of getting out of there had been wiped from her mind for the time being, because Eve didn't think she could handle taking another step.
Upon hearing her name being called, she looked over in the direction it had come from. It was Jack. Eve looked at him slightly confused, because as much as part of her was happy to see him, she really did not expect to, tonight.
Trying for a smile, Eve stretched out her hand. "Jack!" She said faintly, close to tears.
