Someone's hand was better than air, and Zania grabbed hold as tight as she could, surprised when legs wrapped around her as well. It did the job, though, and prevented he from being thrown to the other side of the pool, so she wrapped her arms around the girl's waist and hung on. This seemed to be the best, and only, plan of action. When someone called out that it was "okay" and that they could let go, Zania blinked through the water up at him, her eyes wide.
"Are you fucking crazy?" she asked him as she climbed onto the ladder with the blond girl. "It's not okay!" She wanted to make that clear, since it didn't seem to be over yet. "Thanks," she said, her head turning towards the girl, and gave her a little smile before holding her breath as the water sped towards them once more.
