Practically colorless, Rita steadied herself on the doorjamb as she walked into the room. Her entire life had been spent on land, on mountains even for the first half. Never before had she had to deal with seasickness and the waves of the ocean making her stomach want to turn inside out.
Funny that she loved to look out on the sea so, and was just now learning of the drawbacks of being surrounded by so much water.
With an unpleasant hiccup, she covered her mouth, just in time to hear some poor blonde woman retch not far away. It did little to keep her own stomach in order, although Rita was directing all her own willpower into not having her see a replay of everything she had eaten for dinner and dessert. The first time around it had been quite appealing to the eye, the second time around carried many doubts as to that fact coming true again.
