"I know, right?" She giggled manically, fingers twitching by her sides. No, no lighting things on fire even if you work in a candle shop. That would just be like utter chaos. Bad Phoenix.
"And what are we lighting up today, young man?" She was trying to sound chastising but instead, she sounded infinitely curious and far too peppy to be human. She was fairly certain she could guess but it wouldn't due to go presuming on the scruffy boy. That was like presuming things on her just because her face was painted stark white or had glittery hearts or well there were a lot of traits to list.
Time to push some product. She started pointing out some of the more interesting lighters, "That one is the Glowfire. Trippy thing. Glows in the dark. That one there has a holder for like, I dunno money." She picked up an average sized disposable looking orange lighter with a nozzle-like tip for the flame, "The Sidekick. With adjustable nozzle for funny angles. I use it for setting off firecrackers around small corners."
