Re: (Open to All)
Savannah gave him a long look, as though she were trying to decide whether CJ's apology was sincere or not. Her true intentions were given away by the twitching of her lips as she tried not to join in his laughter.
"The sorority house totally doesn't allow kittens," Savannah informed him with a sulking air. "I'd have to move out." And she dreaded the thought. Life in the sorority house was so comfortable and so very privileged. That was the tough part: moving into an apartment of her own. A kitten seemed like a silly reason to move, she knew, but it wasn't like it was her only reason.
Her face turned towards the stage. "Dunno. I think all the concerts and stuff were supposed to start at 10:30." Or something like that. "What time is it now?"
She noticed his drink was already gone -- well, to be fair, her margarita outsized his Jack and Coke. Still, maybe after the margarita was gone, she'd try something a little stronger -- and smaller, so that she wouldn't have to anchor the drink all night.
