It wasn't much of a surprise to Gor that Slav had quickly forgotten their presence. He wished it were so easy for him. He wandered to the dessert table and returned to theirs with a brownie.
Yum. Fudge brownies. They were the perfect dessert. Clearly, his parents had never made it out of their room, and that was fine by him. They had probably progressed to the yes-you-did and no-I-didn't stage by now, which was primarily composed of blaming the other for everything that went wrong in the others life. Gor could probably recite the whole argument by now.
The brownie was gone in two bites.
