"That's really great," he smiled. He'd hated the thought of leaving her alone down there, so it was a relief to know she'd made it through alright. He'd spent the rest of that night helping people through the halls, as far as he knew someone had actually fallen and sprained their ankle, though two other security guards had found him and taken him to the medical offices without further incident. It was odd about all the hiccups in the ship's functionality, but as his father had pointed out in an e-mail, it was a brand new ship. Things were bound to go wrong on the maiden voyage.
"And I am. I haven't been to a bar in forever. I was starting to feel like a part time hermit always sitting up in my room," he chuckled.
