Delirious, Savannah thought with a soft laugh. That was about right.
"Your mother's a smart woman," Savannah complimented with a smile, leaving her hair to set to begin work on the make-up part of the costume. "But I think you're totally allowed to break the rules for like costume parties and stuff."
Savannah worked silently a moment, as she concentrated on applying the make-up. Make-up and slumber parties had been common elements of Savannah's childhood, and she was as confident applying make-up to others as she was to her own face.
"All done," she said at last, eyes flickering from Molly's eyelids to her eyes as she finished her task. "You know, it was so nice of ask me to help." Her grin widened. "Seriously."
It was nice to be appreciated for something. Maybe she had made a friend after all...
