Savannah's head had lifted when the knock came on the door. She, herself, had been in the midst of painting her toenails when the knock came, and, for a moment, she considered ignoring it. Nails were an important part of the costume, after all.
As Molly's voice filtered through, however, Savannah bounded to her feet. She was not one to turn down a friend in need -- especially not when make-up and hair was involved!
The girl had her own hair in a loose bun, and she wore a pair of shorts and an over-size T-shirt with nothing else. Her own costume was hanging up in the doorway -- a lovely red dress -- and her accessories were tucked neatly on the vanity, including a blond wig and a feathered boa.
"Emergency?" she said as she opened the door. With a gesture, she ushered Molly inside. "We totally can't have that! Let me guess -- the big ball?"
