Sasha had the morning shift. She had stayed up late the night before, surprisingly, at the rock show. She was accustomed to the erratic hours of working at a restaurant sort of environment and had long ago let the irritation behind. Sure she'd like a regular schedule, but then she'd also like to not have to worry about her parents or other jerks. She sighed as she saw two people come in and painted her shy, friendly smile on her face.
"Two?" She asked the two men who entered and glanced down at the seating chart out of habit. Not that it mattered. There was hardly anyone in the cafe on this cruise. When it was clear there were only two she smiled, nodded and motioned them to follow her to a nearby table. She kind of hoped they would keep her on for a next trip when it was busier. She wondered what it would be like to have to wonder where to sit people on this ship, if there would be lines or if they'd go to a different place. She shook her head inwardly and focused on her task at hand.
She set the menus on the table and motioned for them to sit. "I'll be right back with some water for you." And she hurried off to do what was needed.
