Leah was still lingering near the wall when CJ approached her. She had seen him once or twice during the Captain's speech while he had been roaming around. She had noticed him, of course, but was trying in vain to avoid meeting eye contact with him. It wasn't that meeting new people made her nervous or anything since she didn't have much of a problem with it, but his smile was what had her caught off guard.
She reached out to pluck up one of the glasses full of sprite and brought it to her lips. She was still underage so drinking champagne or anything was simply out of the question, but at least they had brought in sodas and juice for the passengers and workers, as well. It was very thoughtful of them. Now all she had left to do was get some of the food that everyone else seemed to be passing around; it all smelled wonderful.
A shiver ran up and down her spine as CJ leaned in toward her ear and she made it a point to purse her lips before she turned to look at him from the corner of her eyes. "Yes. The Odyssey is one of the most well known tales of all time and has been since it was written," she replied with a shrug. "I assume you didn't enjoy it as much?"
