CJ softened his expression, noticing the apparent confusion in her eyes. He didn't want her to feel confused or worried that there was anything expected of her. There wasn't but he couldn't explain why. He couldn't explain why he'd stopped her. He just wanted to touch her and to focus on her, to watch the expressions of her face as she responded to him. CJ wanted her to feel like she could simply let go and be free to enjoy it without feeling like she owed him anything. He was getting what he wanted from the situation and if she was too, then there was no need to change anything.
Her fingers against his neck were gently and soft and brought a smile to his face. He let go of her hand and leaned forward to cup the back of her head. His lips met hers as he closed the distance. He kissed her slowly, as if they had all the time in the world and, gently, he eased his finger inside her.
