Riley took Sarah’s small smile as being just any regular type smile. While maybe Sarah just wanted to be left alone, Riley took it as an opening to continue talking with the girl. Waving a dismissive hand about the losing weight thing, Riley shook her head. “You don’t need to lose weight,” she said. “Besides, one or two cupcakes can’t hurt you too much when you just rocked out on the treadmill for half an hour, right?” While some people may have just been talking out of their ass, Riley was actually being genuine. She really didn’t know how to be anything other than honest.
“I’m Riley, by the way,” she said. “And I’m not the foremost authority on eating healthy, so I’ll warn you, my advice might be a little skewed.” She sighed and took another look at those delicious, chocolately looking cupcakes. “My philosophy is that if it looks good, go for it.”
