Eve grinned one of her genuine, big grins at the fact that Graham didn't seem to mind her short answer. Good sport, apparently. But, in all fairness, she supposed she had something a little more elaborate to tell him about this.
"Well, I got my degree not long ago, but I didn't feel right jumping into the job market just yet. Not into the market I am qualified for, you know, the career building thing. So when I saw the advertisement for this Cruise it sounded like the perfect way to make a sort of symbolic transition. Not that anything's really going to change, merely evolve." She said, with a smug smile forming on her lips. She winked surreptitiously, too.
Eve looked up at the waiter and smiled at him too, politely, as he poured Graham's red wine. That reminded her she hadn't had a sip of her martini since Graham had arrived. And so, she did, biting a bit off the raspberry it had come with.
"Like I said, I hadn't been on a cruise before, I had no idea these ships were this huge. It's quite amazing, still." She smiled.
