Kaz had been watching the band from the back of the room, in the shadows. He'd been in enough of these situations to know that if he'd been anywhere else while they were playing, he'd draw too much attention from the band. He remembered the singer and her... whatever their little relationship was... from the poker game the night before, and was impressed to find that they actually had some chops. Part of him wished they'd done less covers and more original stuff, but he remembered how Inverted Culture had been back in the day- endless Sex Pistols and Clash covers with one or two "original" works in the mix. Still, not bad for kids starting out. They might have a future if they kept it up. He walked up behind the band at the bar and put his arms around them. "Whatever they want, just put it on my tab," he said, feeling very jovial tonight, his midnight swim and hangover mostly forgotten. "These kids are going places, they deserve to celebrate!"
