Leah couldn't actually stop crying now that she had. That sort of reaction was difficult to control and it wasn't as if she could stop it on command. She really liked him, yes, but there was no way that that would happen. Unless he was now secretly a magician or something, but she seriously doubted that.
"Yes, CJ. They're tears," she said feebly and soon found herself leaning her shoulder against a nearby wall. It was easier than trying to keep herself steady on her own two feet when all she wanted to do was collapse in her own bed right now.
"Because maybe, just maybe I'm interested in you in a way that is more than just sexual, CJ. Did you ever consider that?" she asked, now picking at her dress fervently. She'd never wear it again. Leah inhaled sharply again and didn't bother to turn around to look at him as she started in the direction toward her room again. "Have a great time, CJ. I'm sure the show and the company will be wonderful."
