Lynne laughed, nodding. "I know what you mean. Normally I'd have gone for something else but yeah, last minute shopping is always a bitch," she empathized. She had to admit, the mental image of Noah dressed as Peter Pan was kind of adorably hilarious, even if she wouldn't admit it to him.
"Yeah, I know kinda lame," she said and then pause as the latter part of his statement dawned on her. "Yeah?" she asked and hated that she couldn't help the shy smile from crossing her lips nor the blush from creeping into her cheeks. "Thank you," she added, chewing her bottom lip and looking down.
To deflect his possible attention off her sheepishness at being complimented, Lynne looked up again. "Maybe I'll see you there?" she asked more than suggested. Forward wasn't really her style but Noah was a nice guy and she would enjoy spending more time with him, getting to know him, if she was honest and he was willing. "Or if not, there's always the after parties..." she added.
