Lynne nodded along although she couldn't help feeling a little bad for him that he hadn't been close with his sisters. She was very close with her brother, even if they had nothing in common, but she supposed if she was eleven years older than him, perhaps that wouldn't be the case.
"It's good that you had their help," she said with a small smile.
When he took another bite, Lynne went back to pushing her salad around, skewering a cucumber and bringing it up to nibble on. "I only just came out of my room for the first time today," she admitted sheepishly, taking a bite of the cucumber. She chewed, swallowed and shrugged. "I think so," she replied to his question about the theme room. "But you probably couldn't pay me enough to tell you what it is, because I have no idea," she added, letting out a sheepish laugh.
She paused for a moment to take a sip of her soda. "You going to the rock show tonight?"
