Lynne nodded. "I could understand that," she replied as she sipped at her soda. "It's just for me...I kind of find that the majority of people I meet are kind of douchebags. Or they're just plain stupid. That's a big annoyance to me," she admitted.
She could hear the bitterness in his voice as he answered her and Lynne gave him a sympathetic frown. "Well, I doubt it'll fix you, but it might be kinda nice, right? I mean, all expenses paid, right? Might as well live it up while you're here, you know?" she offered genially.
"Oh, I just mean that I don't live at home anymore and my parents moved; there's no bedroom for me, anymore. My little brother's away at school, so..." she shrugged. "When I go on vacation, I can't really ever afford to go anywhere except home. So, I stay in my brother's room," she explained. She gave him an amused look and arched an eyebrow at Noah. "By myself," she added, just in case his mind was somewhere else and he thought she was some kind of freak, all of a sudden.
