Since both Graham and CJ, the only people she'd really talked to yet, had said they'd see Lynne at the show, she supposed she was on her own for dinner. It wasn't really her style, going out to eat by herself, but she'd originally set out to do it at lunch and she told herself that she could do it again for dinner.
So, when her stomach grumped that it was time to eat, Lynne changed into the clothes she planned on wearing to the rock show and set out. She'd been to the 50s diner, so she decided to try something different. Something, maybe, faster still, and the buffet sounded like a good idea.
There weren't a whole lot of people down there, she was happy to notice, so maybe she could actually eat her food, rather than pick at it.
She noticed a guy making his rounds about it and as she made a salad for herself, she looked over at him. "Is the food any good here?" she asked, raising an eyebrow curiously. Just because it had been good at Thalia's didn't mean it would be at the Grand Buffet and it seemed just as good an introduction as any...
