There was no reason for her to feel stupid. He was being a distraction (which he was very good at) and thus the book went forgotten for a brief moment. Now it was all fixed and off the floor. No harm, no foul. Or fowl. Her babbling was kind of cute and he was really quite used to girls who babbled or went on and on without stopping. “I think that might just be nervousness. I keep thinking really bad thoughts about the ship that I’m not going to say out loud due to Murphy’s Law.” Honestly, what kind of a cruise ship stocks copies of Titanic in their rentals?
“Cool,” he said simply and settled on a bench across from the blonde, just glad to be sitting really. He straightened the guitar and started checking the tuning.
