Well! Graham had most certainly not been expecting her to say that! He blinked in surprise, mouth falling open a bit... then chuckled quietly. One hand absently went up to rake through his hair, a bad habit he had, especially in slightly awkward situations.
"Well, ah, thank you," he nodded. "Really no point buttering me up so I'll write something good about you in my story. Haven't interviewed you just yet." He half-grinned slowly. "Although, in my profession, I have found that flattery really does get you everywhere."
The poor girl seemed embarrassed enough, anyway, and he didn't want to make it worse. So he teased her, if only a little bit.
"That's quite alright. I suppose I'll just have to make due with the current state of my hair," he gave a mock-exasperated sigh. But he was, again, joking, of course. "Come now, you're on vacation. Wouldn't want to put you to work when you should be relaxing. Really, I hope to be the only poor bloke working while he's on holiday."
