"Oh, the rooms..." Lynne echoed, nodding. Hers, she'd really been too sick to bother taking into notice, save the fact that it was beautiful...and lush...and comfortable as all hell. Very homey, but in a VIP kind of way she'd never experienced before. "Yeah...totally."
Seeing as how he was gesticulating with his own food, Lynne figured maybe he wouldn't really notice if she finally tucked into hers. She was really effing hungry, after all, and as much as she hated eating in front of guys - especially strange, insanely attractive ones - she couldn't wait anymore and he was pleasantly chatty; she didn't think he'd be going anywhere anytime soon.
So, she popped one of her own French fries into her mouth and raised her eyebrows at him as he contradicted her. "Well, I'm not sure you've broken the story with my tidbits, but all right," she joked. "What kind of stuff are you wanting to ask people, anyway? Just...the stuff I've already said for myself?" she wondered aloud, picking up her sandwich and taking a bite. As she chewed, she held one hand over her mouth reflexively - it was something she did when she meant to keep talking, but didn't want to be disgusting. Unnecessary as it was, seeing as how she was finished talking for the moment.
While he said he would be rubbish to go about the ship with, Lynne thought very much to the contrary. He seemed like a really nice guy, he was talkative and equally as interested in checking the place out as she was. Plus, it really, really didn't hurt his cause being as easy on the eyes as he was. Of course, she'd never say that to his face. She'd already set it in her mind that he was completely out of her league from the moment he sat down beside her at the counter.
Part of her wondered why it really even mattered to her at all. It wasn't like the cruise was even going to last long enough for anything other than a fling, at best, anyway. Not that that was what she was looking for, per se, because it wasn't. She just...probably wouldn't say no if the other person was attractive and interesting enough.
"Oh, I dunno. I'm not sayin' I wanna tag along with you or anything...or get in your way, but..." her voice trailed off, she shrugged, and took another bite of her sandwich. After swallowing, she finished the sentiment. "I wouldn't hate it." She grinned.
