Graham chuckled quietly at her reaction to his job and nodded. "Thanks. I've got them fooled and they haven't grown weary of my bad writing yet." He was joking, of course. "Writing's been my passion for a very long time. Can't picture myself doing anything else, really."
He hadn't intended to talk about himself, but since she was asking, of course he was going to be polite and answer! Graham was one of those journalists who didn't like talking about himself very much. Thats why he interviewed people, after all! So, oblivious to her concerns with her food and him spotting her eating said food, he nodded.
"I'm from London, England, originally. Family still lives there." Including a 13-year-old-daughter... but he didn't put that bit in. "Accent tends to give it away. S'not quite as bad as it used to be, though - the more I've traveled, the more I've picked up other accents and bits of languages here and there."
